Although I live in Massachusetts, it has been my pleasure and my privilege to work with Denise on an ongoing basis for several years now.  I met her briefly on a trip to Big Island, when my friends and I stopped in at her magical crystal shop.  Her gentle presence in the store, and the energy, purity, and beauty of the crystals she carries were striking. There were rare pieces I had never seen before, and I circled and circled, because making a decision was so wonderfully difficult!!!  I have turned to her whenever I feel it is time to add a new crystal ally to my healing space.  She always picks the perfect pieces for my requirements, because she knows the meanings of the crystals so well. I am very grateful that our paths have crossed, and I know I will be calling her again very soon!!!

I have been visiting Star Light for 4 years now; when we come to the Big Island that is one of the highlights for me. I end up spending a long time in the shop as it is so much fun and very uplifting. I would say it is the best crystal shop I have ever been in and Denise is very helpful in directing me to the crystal that matches what I need at the time - no pressure to buy.  I have so many compliments on the jewelry I have purchased over the years and it all feels so good.  When back home if I am feeling really challenged by something occurring in my life I have contacted Denise and the crystals she has suggested and mailed to me have been a Godsend.  I sleep with them and carry them, massage myself at times and they absolutely help. A friend gave me some money to purchase her a crystal pendant and earrings at Star Light. I told Denise the issues she was having and the amethyst set we chose was perfect. She loved it.

I have loved and used crystals for about 44 years for comfort and healing of my body and soul.  I have given them to friends for gifts or when I see they are struggling with something and they tell me it has helped immensely and they have even passed some on to others who they felt needed comfort and healing. I have introduced crystals to my two little grandchildren since they were tiny and they love them as well. Even my husband carries one in his pocket at all times.

My passion is people, the universe, the ocean and all the beauty Mother Nature has provided. I work with seniors as a manager in an Assisted Living residence which I truly love. I find it so rewarding to be a part of their lives and see them blossom in the atmosphere created by having a positive attitude.  My office is filled with crystals as well and I notice many of my elderly tenants use crystals too.
I use a crystal Bible regularly but also use my intuition on which crystal helpers to use.

I am a Reiki Master & LMT and have my own Healing Therapy Business on Oahu. I love finding a reason to visit Starlight- it is such an amazing place with a wonderful selection of great quality crystals, jewelry and inspirational tools.

I use all my crystals and purchases in my work and for my personal use, one of my favorite has been my Tibetan Hand Bell which I use for clearing my house & classroom before Reiki and my jewelry when I feel it is "cloudy" & needs energizing. It has such a beautiful tone & sound it is truly music to my chakra's.

Denise gives extremely helpful suggestions like,  the smokey quartz pendant, I bought has helped me find peace & calm during stressful moments...I am grateful for her assistance in this crystal- a perfect fit for me.

I can highly recommend anyone visiting the Big Island, to take time to stop by at Starlight, it will truly change your life in such a positive way, you would never think is possible!

When I was visiting Hawaii, I met Denise at Star Light.  I am trying to heal a (incurable) cancer without western medicine.  When I arrived at her store with much anxiety, she helped me calm down and put me at ease.  Her insights were to the point but with compassion. Since my concern was health-related, she even gave me some nutritional suggestions!  After talking a bit, I received far more insight about my situation than I had expected.  I learned that I needed to deal with the emotional baggage as much as the physical illness in order to truly heal and that there was a spiritual/emotional reason behind every ailment.  It was an enlightening experience.  She also suggested stones and a angel figurine (painted by Sharmai Amber) that would be helpful to me.  Indeed, they are helping me everyday. 
 
The stones give me more mental clarity and focus during meditation.  Once I started meditating without the stones and put the stones on my body in the middle.  I sensed the difference immediately.  The angel figurine helps me bring out the emotions that are tucked away deep in my subconscious.   I have also given stones to a number of people as per my giving Denise information on the person and she matching the stone to their situation.  Even though they don't believe in the power of crystals, the stones seem to be helping them as well.
 
Test results indicate that I am eradicating the cancer slowly but surely.  Denise has opened the door for me to live a more conscious and purposeful life everyday.  Thank you!

 "My name is Nancy Ferrari and live in Orange County, CA.   It was on our trip to Hawaii in July of 2009 that my husband and I found ourselves in a mesmerizing, glimmering store full of beautiful gems and power-stones.  I met the owner Denise when I said hello and she told me to just walk around as I will be drawn to a particular gem and will know that's what I need.  At that time, it was a Fluorite necklace that spoke to me and enjoyed it immensely as it's main purpose was to help "calm in a state of chaos".  After I returned home, the visions of a beautiful Red Obsidian that I had seen lingered in my mind, and called Denise and not only did I order it, but she told me that she had 2 heart shaped Fluorite gems and an Ametrine necklace that she thought I'd like.  She was gracious to send me pictures and knew I wanted them in my possession.   These stones are my source of calm, strength, and power when I meditate, practice Reiki or just relax.   I know when I travel somewhere, I want them close.  I travel with my Fluorite gems and wear my Ametrine often.  I wear the Ametrine when I'm our of my comfort zone within my business, it seems to keep me centered and focused.  Denise and I connected last week on line and she shared some new treasures, and am happy to say that I now have added an amazing Apophoyllite and a rare Black Phantom Rutile in my collection.  They compliment each other beautifully as one is strong and dominant, and the other is soothing and compliments my Reiki attunement.  My work with self-Reiki, meditation, and practice of Reiki on others has enhanced with these "friends" of mine and I know my inner voice will tell me to call Denise when there's a new gem needed.  By the way, I learned  early on, that these gems need to be soaked in salt water to remove any negativity that they may hold from an experience, and since I'm a distributor for Enagic USA and drink alkaline Kangen water religiously, my stones love the 11.5 pH and are clean, bright and resonate clearly with me after a soaking!  Thank you Denise for your guidance with my stones as they enhance my life blissfully !"
