Selecting  a crystal or a crystal selecting you most always will occur to be a  perfect connection. I have seen this happen time and time again is our shop Star Light with visitors from all over the world.  It can be a very intuitive and guided process as well. It is best to pay attention to the ones you feel drawn to or that gets your attention, like it just grabs your attention and you just want to pick it up. That is most likely the best and most helpful one(s) for you. You can also go through certain books on crystals and minerals or go to our mineral properties guide under ‘education’. It is good to allow your body and your inner knowing to guide you and/or your guidance of the light.

Then it is a good idea to trust what your intuition/guidance is telling you, and sometimes you may not be used to trusting your intuition/guidance/gut feelings. You can also ask, "is this for my highest good and I only want to receive guidance from the light". What if you are attracted and or guided to a stone, but your eyes find it less than attractive to you?  Your body may be drawn to the particular mineral that gemstone is made of. Perhaps there is another piece of that same mineral that you will like better. Here is a possible scenerio,  say you find yourself drawn to rose quartz,  but you aren’t completely satisfied with the particular crystal you first were drawn to. It just might  be too big, too small, not in your budget or maybe the looks of it are not appealing to you. You can look for other crystals that are Rose quartz. Or rose quartz in a different form, say a massage wand, pyramid  or a sphere you would like. Sometimes our soul, mind and/or body needs a particular mineral (like rose quartz) in whatever form.  Sometimes we are guided or called to work with one or more particular stones or crystals, no matter what the look of it is. This is a really good idea then,  to trust that this is the gemstone for you. If you don’t see it in our on- line store, doesn’t mean we don’t have it. Please feel free to call or email us. I have found that the process can change so it has helped me to stay open to the flow. Sometimes I am drawn, sometimes it helps when I look at the information and the description of the gemstone, sometimes a picture of the crystal will come to me.  And when I get nudges or guidance to work with the crystals I have found they have helped support my growth process. I truly am thankful that the mineral kingdom has been created to help and support us. It is a wonderful gift from our Creator.
